Complementing Ms. Schittulli is an experienced team of serial entrepreneurs and executives with extensive backgrounds in the management and operation of companies and major defense programs. In addition the Canterbury team includes an analytical, technical and administrative team shaped to complement the company’s analytical expertise – the team provides a variety of skills necessary to meet or exceed our clients’ requirements and evolving challenges. Canterbury has invested in building a diverse set of tools to reduce dramatically the cost of delivering its consultative services.
Hannah Adams
Ms. Adams is a senior technical writer with Canterbury Resources with seven plus years of experience, including six years supporting the Naval Sea Systems Command and completion of the Office of the Chief of Staff, Departmental Correspondence Managers Training in July 2012. Ms. Adams reviewed more than 700 deliverables for the NAVSEA FIAR team, including instructions, memoranda, letters, reports and spreadsheets. She served as lead for the technical writing team, overseeing the work of two other writers. She also reviewed an assortment of documents for the WCF NSWC Carderock Division in Phase 1 of its FIAR and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) pre-planning and the USPS OIG as it sought to enhance the technical training offerings it provided to its personnel. Ms. Adams ensures quality deliverables are provided to the customer by reviewing grammar, punctuation and spelling; verifying the use of consistent language; and applying formatting standards. She also revises documents to convey technical information and process instructions in a clear, consistent style. She often works on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing to meet deadlines. Ms. Adams earned a BS in Technical and Professional Communication and a BA in Biology from Ferris State University.
Andrew Carrington
Mr. Carrington is a serial entrepreneur with over 30 years of technology innovation experience. As the principal innovator of the first real-time 3D photo-realistic rendering system for mission planning/rehearsal, training and intelligence exploitation, he spun-off a commercial venture that was the genesis of today’s Google Earth. Mr. Carrington led the development of a leading commercial graphical modeling and discrete event simulator with C++ code generation and Very High-level Design Language (VHDL) synthesis. He is also the founder and chief architect of the first voice controlled automotive navigation and iPod/iPhone connected-car infotainment system for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as General Motors and Jaguar/Land Rover.
Al Marshall
Mr. Marshall has a broad-based background in business analysis in addition to experience as an intelligence officer in the US Navy. In recent years, he has advised and provided financial modeling for a number of startup companies after working for more than a decade in product development and management in the wireless and online marketing industries. Mr. Marshall has also worked as a consultant in the management operations practice at Ernst & Young. He earned BA and MBA degrees from the University of Chicago.
Jong Moon
Mr. Moon has over twenty years of experience in embedded software design and implementation for the Mil-Aero, automotive and consumer electronics markets. He has provided oversight on various product development activities, and has served as the lead engineer with primary responsibility for product requirements, software design, development, testing, verification and hardware related decisions that impacts the overall product functionality and software performance. Mr. Moon’s experience includes extensive customer interaction, from small boutique product companies to government research and development projects and multi-national automotive manufacturers. He has been involved in all aspects of the product development and delivery life-cycle. Mr. Moon earned a BS in Information and Computer Sciences from the University of California, and a BS in Physics from Caltech.
Hee-Joung Youn
Ms. Youn is an information management lead and a financial analyst with 14 years of accounting and financial experience. As a member of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness Program (FIAR) team, she managed the Environmental Liabilities (EL) updates and source documentation, quarterly ships depreciation calculation, and supported data validation and reconciliation efforts by generating quarterly Query Management Facility (QMF) comparative analysis reports. She prepared quarterly financial statements for Headquarters (HQ) and the field activities. She also worked as an Office Level System Administration (OLSA) for the NAVSEA Comptroller Directorate (SEA 01) Corporate Document Management System (CDMS), managing the SEA 01 accounts and document uploads for the team. In the past, Ms. Youn participated in the complete Defense Industrial Financial Management System (DIFMS) implementation process from data mapping and integrated testing to full production for the DoN Working Capital Fund. She provided data conversion, unit and integrated system testing, end-user training and production support during the implementation process, and documented the system output problems. She tested new and existing software and assured federal financial management regulatory compliance. Ms. Youn earned a BS in Management Information Systems from Virginia Tech.
Dan McGilvray
Mr. McGilvray, a certified master training specialist, has extensive knowledge of training certification processes and the evolving standards and concepts related to the eLearning community. He has over 21 years instructional design experience for the USN Interactive Learning Environment (ILE), which included training requirements analyses and assessment management, and over 12 years of experience in media design, implementation and production methods and techniques. As a civilian, he develops and updates training curricula and conducts classroom.
Mr. McGilvray supports the Canterbury technical team in the development of eLearning materials comprised of prototype versions of Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courseware with learning modules across multiple financial segments such as reimbursable work orders, purchase card, etc. These materials include various elements that ensure SCORM compliance (introduction, level of impact, objective, control description, process steps, review, and knowledge assessments). Each learning module includes extensive graphics, audio narration, avatars, animations and simulations. Mr. McGilvray utilizes many of the standard graphics/artistic tools to create the graphics for the learning modules.
